About the School
Brudenell School of English opened in January 1991. It is English
owned by a qualified teacher. We are informal yet professional in approach and
offer a high standard of tuition at very competitive fees. There are also
discounts for those enrolling for 12 weeks or more and further discounts for students who enrol in afternoon classes for 12 weeks or more. We are truly international
and welcome students from all over the world. The minimum age
is 18. We are open
throughout the year but closed for Christmas and Easter.
Students can start on any Monday for as little as one week. However,
in order to see a real improvement, we suggest a minimum stay of one month.
Full-time students enrolling for six months or more can apply for an
international student card available from the school. Students enrolling for a minimum of 14 weeks full time can also apply for a Transport for London Oyster card, giving them a 30% discount on London underground trains (tubes) and buses. All students are expected to attend regularly and
punctually and to submit homework. Since its opening, Brudenell has always enjoyed a no smoking policy in the interest of health and safety. As such we were pleased to welcome the no smoking law, which came into force on 1st July 2007.
From January 2005, those entering the UK on a student visa must be enrolled at an educational establishment which appears on the Department for Education & Skills (DfES) register. We are pleased to announce that Brudenell School of English appears on that register, which may be viewed online at www.dfes.gov.uk/providersregister.

Where are we?
We are in the pleasant west London suburb of Ealing, known for its
tree-lined streets and modern shopping centre. We are just round the corner
from Ealing Broadway station, half an hour by tube from the famous sights of
central London.

Several bus routes are close by and places of interest just
outside London, such as Kew Gardens, Windsor Castle and Hampton Court, are also
within easy reach. We are near Heathrow, London's main airport; Gatwick airport
and mainline stations such as Victoria and Liverpool Street are also easily
accessible. For a more detailed map of Ealing and London

Host Family Accommodation Service
London is a big place and public transport can be expensive, time
consuming and sometimes unreliable. Studying in the suburb of Ealing means that
students can live close to their school, thus saving time and money. We are
able to arrange host family accommodation locally.

Finding your own Accommodation
You can find your own accommodation if you prefer. Just click onto www.easylondonaccommodation.com which deals with rooms suitable for students throughout the London area. Be sure to tell them that you are studying in Ealing, which is in Zone 3.
Social Programme
The School organises social events in the evenings, where students can
meet on a more informal basis and practise their English. We also organise
outings to places of interest in and around London at a reasonable cost, both
during the week and at weekends.

Levels
We cater for all levels from Beginners to Proficiency. In theory all levels are available from 9.00-12.00, 12.00-3.00 and 3.00-6.00 as well as in the evenings. However, some levels are more popular than others and we will advise of availability once you have completed your assessment and enrolment form. |
